This is a postcard of the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. An absolutely wonderful place to visit and I think this postcard is from when I was there on a school field trip in the 80's. I have visited the place many times. It is especially fun to go during the Christmas Holidays when they have the house decorated. I think there are letterboxes in this photo!!

I have always wanted to visit the Biltmore House! It looks like it should be over in England somewhere. In fact, it was the setting for one of my favorite movies, The Private Eyes with Don Knotts and Tim Conway. The story took place in England, but they filmed it all at the Biltmore.
