This is a postcard of Seattle's Boeing Field with the brand new airplanes lined up and ready for delivery to their airlines. Notice the America West and Piedmont planes lined up side by side!! gotta be early 80's.

A great postcard! My brother and I both worked for Northwest Airlines during the 90's. I recognize a couple of their planes in the picture by the red tails.
Hi Amanda, My Dad will love this photo. Back in my youth we would sit across the street from the landing area at Orlando International and watch the planes come in. There was a long dirt parking area and sometimes it seemed like 100's of people were there to watch the show. Wow, thanks for the memories : ). I always enjoy your postcards and blogs. Brian
Oh My... what a wonderful sight. I was enroute to Vancouver YEARS ago, and we went past this plant and I was amazed then. At that time I was living on the East Coast and so seeing the sights of Seattle was wonderful. Now seeing this again, still amazes me. Thank you for sharing and jolting my memory!
This brings beautiful memories of my childhood in Chicago Illinois. Just like previous posts on sundays my dad who is no longer with us would take us to watch planes take off and land. I remember laying on top of his car and trying to guess where the planes were going and where they have been. Carmen
