When I first moved to Seattle, I started to collect antique postcards of the local area. I like to see how things have changed over the years. These cards are from the 1940's according to the postmarks on the back. Here is a view of 4th and Pike Street in Seattle today:

It is one way now, but the buses are still moving along! I love that there is a bus in the old postcard and in the new web feed from Google Maps
FYI: The new view is looking the wrong way! The building on the far right in the old postcard is the building to the near left in the google photo
