Monday's Postcard: Fire Lookouts

I have always loved firetowers and Ryan and I have hiked up to several, I would still like to spend the night in one someday.



 These photos are from a hike that Ryan and I did to a Fire Lookout in California. The haze in the photo of  Ryan surveying the view is smoke from a fire that was in the area!  Hopefully I can do another hike to a firetower for the WTA hike-a-thon this year.Ryan has already been to several as he hiked the Wonderland Trail around Mt. Rainier!!  Ryan and I are hiking in August for the Washington Trails Association. We are looking for pledges to contribute for the protection and maintenance of Washington State Trails.
