Postcards 2020 Wrightsville Beach: Oceanic 1910
Another Postcard that I decided to show the back of it. During the early 1900's the rules for postcards changed from Only an address on one side to allowing a message to be put on the back. This postcard was not divided on the back, so originally it was printed to have the address only. You can see where the person writing the card penciled in their own division to separate the message from the address. The postmark is Jan 22 1910 from Norwood, NC and was sent to Washington, DC. Norwood is a small town inland in North Carolina between Charlotte and Rockingham.
A reminder to folks who are fans of my postcard posts. Coming in 2021, I will be highlighting the cards that you guys send to me. So send me a postcard! And you will see it on the blog in 2021. Amanda Arkebauer PO Box 16131 Seattle, WA 98116
