Hike-a-thon 2024 off to a wonderful start!

My first hike for Hike-a-thon 2024 is a favorite that you have seen me do for several years now. I was busy here in town and couldn't get away, so I did 2 miles on the Cedar River Trail through Renton, WA. I even got to see the Blue Angels doing some practice for their shows this weekend!!

August 3rd I was down in Ashland, OR for the Shakespeare Festival, but I was able to do 2 miles on the Woodland and Pioneer Trails in Lithia Park.

On August 4th I did one mile on the Emigrant Lake Trail near Ashland, OR

And August 6th I did one mile on the Des Moines Creek Trail here in Seattle. It is under the flight path for SeaTac Airport and I enjoy seeing all the airplanes as they take off.

I forgot to bring a container for blackberries. But luckily I had a Dutch Brothers cup in the car!!

I'm working to raise money for Washington Trails Association through Hike-a-Thon. This August. I'll be hitting the trail to support the outdoor experiences I love so much. Will you join me in supporting trails by making a donation to my Hike-a-Thon fundraising page? Even a small donation will help me achieve my goal! I am only $125 away from my goal, so I just need 25 more folks to donate $5 and I am there!!  Thanks so much for your support.
