Hike-a-thon Week Two is too too terrific!

On August 8th I did 2 miles on the Longfellow Creek Trail in West Seattle. They are renovating the Salmon Bone Bridge, so I had to detour around a bit, but it is still a lovely trail. Some parts are road walk, but I enjoy seeing people's houses and I got to visit a few Little Free Libraries along the way.

I did 4 miles across downtown Burlington, VT following the Burlington Greenway/Island Line Trail

You know it snows a lot when they have these flaggy things on the fire hydrants, so that they can find them in the snow!!

Thanks so much to Kathy, Angele and Cecilia for their recent donations!!

I'm working to raise money for Washington Trails Association through Hike-a-Thon. This August and I'll be hitting the trail to support the outdoor experiences I love so much. Will you join me in supporting trails by making a donation to my Hike-a-Thon fundraising page? Even a small donation will help me achieve my goal!  Thanks so much for your support.
